Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By joining the Loqi waitlist on loqimaps.com or otherwise using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. About Loqi

Loqi is a mobile social map application currently in private beta development. The Loqi waitlist on loqimaps.com lets early supporters reserve a numbered spot for a free Premium tier when the app launches publicly.

Loqi is a product of Grande Developers (in formation), a Dutch general partnership (VOF) being registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK). Once KVK registration is complete, our official registration number will be published in our Privacy Policy and on this page.

Our KVK registration is currently being finalised. Once complete, our official KVK number will be added to this document.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to join the Loqi waitlist. By signing up, you confirm you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. Waitlist registration

When you submit your email at loqimaps.com:

• We assign you a numbered position in order of signup (#1, #2, #3, etc.)
• We assign you a tier based on your position
• We send you a confirmation email with your tier and position

Each email address may register only once. Duplicate submissions return your existing spot — they do not create a new one.

5. Tier rewards

Each tier comes with a different free Premium reward when Loqi publicly launches:

To claim your reward at launch:

• You must create a Loqi account using the same email address as your waitlist signup
• You must claim within 90 days of Loqi's public launch announcement
• Unclaimed rewards expire after this period

6. Beta status and no guarantees

Loqi is in active development. We make no guarantees about:

• The exact launch date (current target: 2026, subject to change)
• The final feature set of the application
• Continuous availability or uptime of the service
• The exact economic value of Premium at the time of launch

If Loqi does not launch publicly within 18 months of your waitlist signup, we reserve the right to modify or substitute your tier reward with a comparable benefit of equal goodwill. We will honor the spirit of the promise: free Premium for the agreed duration, regardless of how the product evolves.

7. Intellectual property

All content on loqimaps.com (including text, design, illustrations, logos, photographs, code, and the Loqi name) is the intellectual property of Loqi and protected by Dutch and international copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercialize this content without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of any data you submit (e.g. your email address). By submitting your email, you grant us a limited license to use it for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Your data

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using loqimaps.com or joining the waitlist, you also agree to that Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Submit fake, temporary, or disposable email addresses with the intent to manipulate the waitlist
• Attempt to claim tier rewards you are not entitled to
• Sell, transfer, or attempt to monetize your waitlist position
• Scrape, attack, overload, or otherwise abuse the website or its infrastructure
• Use the website for any unlawful purpose under Dutch or EU law

Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal of your waitlist entry without notice.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The website and waitlist service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Loqi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of loqimaps.com or the waitlist program.

Our total aggregate liability to you, for any cause whatsoever, is limited to the greater of:

• The amount you have paid us (for the waitlist this is €0), or
• €100

This limitation does not apply where prohibited by Dutch consumer law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or remove your waitlist entry if you violate these Terms.

You may withdraw your participation at any time by emailing privacy@loqimaps.com requesting deletion of your data.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be exclusively submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to all waitlist members at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the website after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
